I was so excited to see Abigail's reaction to her new wagon from Santa. We bought her the wooden pounding bench and she'd been playing with it for a few days before this. Juliette just couldn't resist getting in on the action! We all got up, and came in to say 'Hi' to the Christmas Tree (like we had been doing everyday since we put it up) and got to see her excited reaction! It was one of the highlights of my year!
She also loved the pillow pal from her Great Aunt Judy. (She'd already opened that earlier in the week, but it was fun to do it again!)
Brooklyn loved the ball that came in her stocking.
Abby liked the trumpet and new giraffe sucker that came in hers.
Then after a good nap, it was time for another tradition: easy breakfast that you make the night before. This was blueberry cream cheese french toast casserole. Next time we won't use the cream cheese. I think it's safe to say this girl loves bread and anything made out of it.
Gigi and Pop came for breakfast and unloaded their truck with all of the gifts for little lady.
There's that silly dog again- except this one is a walker she can ride on!
Later on after another good nap, we went over to Gigi and Pop's for some stew. Abby relaxed on her elephant pillow with her 'ipad' for approximately 30 seconds while I took these pictures and then was up cruising around some more.
Pop taught her how to put the balls in the top of her chicken toy and she was having fun figuring that out!
It was a wonderful first Christmas in our new home, and with our silly girl.
