I don't know if the pictures do justice to the height of this ladder. I tried to use the fireplace as a frame of reference, but I don't know if it really works. I was shaking in my boots, and I wasn't even up there!
I'm just glad we got our living room and loft ceilings and higher walls painted by someone else (and that they are now complete!). All we have left in the living room is painting the nasty lemon yellow wall to the nice shade of brown, paint the trim, new blinds, and hang the TV above the fireplace.
It's finally coming together! I love the new lights we put in today, and I'm surprised that I actually like the ceiling fan we put in, because shopping for those is like pulling teeth, I can't stand looking at them because 99% of them are hideous. I'm shocked that there are actually 2 styles of ceiling fans in the world that I like, the one we used for the bedroom, and the one that's in the living room.
As soon as I find my camera battery charger I will post pictures of all of our improvements.
