I am so excited to report that my girl loves broccoli! I steamed some up to have with a tuna helper thing I made for dinner. I made it extra soft and she was all over it. Next time I'm going to add some olive oil for extra fats.
Trying to get super healthy food into her has made me pay more attention to what I'm feeding my own body (and Bean's, at least for dinner). I realized how easy it is for us to fall back on convenience foods that have no fruits or veggies at all.
We are trying to be semi laid-back about what we are feeding her- we don't hold back on seasonings and stuff. Except sugar. No added sugar until she's a year old. I have a huge sweet tooth and if I can help prevent that in her a little bit, that would be great!
