Independence Day 2016

Francie's first holiday was Independence Day, just like big sister. Since she was only 2 weeks old, we stayed local.

Amazingly we all slept in until 8am, then jumped up, got dressed and headed out to the local parade that started at 9am. We grabbed Whataburger for breakfast and had to drive through some neighborhoods to find a parking spot before walking at least a mile to get to the parade route. By the time we got there it had already started. We were maybe 20 minutes late.

We sat down, started eating breakfast, and 10 minutes later it was all over!

Abigail went along with my wardrobe choice for her but added the ace bandage for a bug bite on her ankle. She loved getting a few pieces of candy thrown at her.

Francie slept the whole time, until we got back to the truck and she woke up hungry. So we sat there and listened to princess music while I nursed her.

On the drive home I was thinking about how ridiculous the whole morning was and how glad I was to be doing all of it with Bean. Dumb stuff doesn't stress him out like it does to me.

After a short rest we went out to the garage and sat on our deep freezer to take a family picture before we all took naps. It was a nice day!

Funtastically photogenic family photo of independent Bell four-some.
