This is what Bean called "Chicken Pot Soup". I followed a recipe from Picky Palate, and for some reason, there was a TON of liquid, and not enough biscuits or veggies/chicken. It tasted good, but had a lot of sodium (no wonder I'm bloated!). We will make it again, but with half the liquid, and more chicken and veggies, and we will use crescent rolls instead of biscuits. Bean loves crescent rolls.
This is the perfect marriage meal. Bean made the salmon on the grill, while I made the risotto on the stove. They each brought their own flavor to the table, but they are perfect together. We ate dinner and watched Sunshine Cleaning with M&M's and wine for dessert. It was a nice relaxing evening, and now we have 3 days with nothing to do!

After seeing this post it reminded me to make the Chicken Pot Pie recipe from the Favorite Family recipies blog. LOVE IT!! When you make Chicken Pot Pie again you might want to give it a whirl. If you haven't used any Favorite family recipe blog recipies I totally recommend it! It is my new fav. Pretty simple recipes that usually turn out really yummy. I used to use a ton of recipes from Picky palate but a lot of them are really involved and use obscure ingredients. Just my two cents. Miss you!
