I can't wait to get tile down in the entryway!
The floors are ground down, the walls and floors have been vacuumed, dusted, and washed, and some of the cabinets are primed.
Here's the bulk of the work this weekend. We had to get the countertops out and cut the base cabinets to fit the new range.
Here's a closeup. Look at the lovely tile we found behind the microwave! I want to get a silver paint pen and write a message on it. Any suggestions? I was thinking "The Bell's kitchen remodel Summer 2011" or something about leaving an artifact behind, or something about "If you are reading this, the new microwave we installed Summer 2011 went bad- how about that original tile?"
We got new sheetrock in, and all of the doors and base cabinets are primed. No, we are not taking the stuff out. I'd rather leave the insides of the cabinets white/bright than take everything out, remove the expensive cork shelf liner, and prime and paint it.
Bean also wrestled with that large puzzle piece of sheetrock and finally got it to fit.

To buy the whole lot, kitchen countertops and countertop, some kitchen cabinet retailers have software that will help you. If you want to do a solo test, some designers have software that they can quickly do that for you.
