Whitney had her baby yesterday afternoon. Everything went well, and Pearson is doing great. I haven't heard much, but I did call the hospital and chat with Zach for a few minutes this afternoon. He said they had to use the vaccum thing on Pearson because the umbilical cord was around her neck, but it was no big deal. Whit was busy feeding, so I didn't get to talk to her. Hopefully I will get to see her and Pearson on Monday.
We're headed to Baton Rouge this weekend and couldn't be more excited. We're having a crawfish boil, and hanging out with the family. It will be a blast! (Except for waking up at 4:30 on Saturday to catch our early-morning flight).
I got to thinking, if you already know what your baby will be and have a name for it, what does the doctor say when it arrives? If they say, "It's a Girl!" you already know that, so it's redundant. Yet another reason I don't want to find out what my kids will be until they are born. It's such a great suprise! And I love suprises.
