Now that we have it online, more people will see it, and we can get it sold! It's great to see the sign out front and know that soon we can move closer to everything.
I've also started reading The Secret, which is really interesting. Basically your thoughts are what draw certain things to your life- good or bad. So if you complain a lot, you get more stuff to complain about (sounds like someone I know). The more you feel happy with what you have, you can get even more than you thought.
One of the exercises the book has is to visualize checks arriving in your mailbox, instead of bills. You'll still get bills, but you look at them and say, "I have more than enough money to pay these bills". And visualize yourself being able to buy whatever it is you want. Eventually the Universe (or God) will bring it to you. Whatever you ask for you'll get. So today at work, I decided to visualize myself walking out to the mailbox, opening it, and finding my bonus check among all of the payments being made to customers' accounts. I knew one of them was on the way- the small one, a couple of hundred dollars- so when I found the envelope that I knew had our checks in it, I was ecstatic! It worked! And I didn't even think about it for very long!
Then I opened it, and found out it was my big bonus- probably 5 times as much as I was expecting. This really blew my mind because I wasn't expecting that check until next month. All I did was visualize going outside and picking up the mail, which included a check made out to me. And it came true.
Now I don't know if I will be able to make random checks come to me in the mail after I get these two bonus checks, but I will surely keep trying! On a more serious note, I'm going to figure out what I want as far as how soon our house will sell, and what the terms will be and start working on that. Also, I'll be visualizing our future home and what it might entail- where it will be, what it will look like inside, and what improvements we will get to make on it. The first thing that came to mind when I thought of the second part was a house we looked at in Valley Ranch. It was on a corner lot and was still for sale last time we looked. We peeked through the windows and saw hideous wallpaper and the backyard needed quite a bit of work, but I would love to redo the inside and backyard. And I'd love to host a house warming party there this spring or summer.
