Our last and first day together
On our last day together, me and my first (real) car had to go out with a bang. I took her into the triple digits (100mph) one last time, and we successfully evaded a speeding ticket. She was a graduation present from high school, and my only request was that she be red. Luckily for me, that meant she only came in a 2-door instead of the old-lady style 4-door my dad wanted. She's been through minor hail damage, been rear-ended twice, and had her tires replaced 3 times in her 145,000 life with me. I was a little sad when we dropped her off.
Then we picked up the keys to our new ride, for our first day together:
I don't know if it's a he or a she, but it's beautiful. I feel like an adult in this nice SUV that is being purchased by me and Bean. The car buying process was stressful and probably my least favorite thing to do, even though our salesman Matt "Eugene" Torres was excellent. We are not any closer to filling up all the seats with children, but I have already loaded 40 gallons of paint in the back and today, I will be taking this stinker:
To the dog park. No doubt it will be muddy, but we have to break it in sometime, right?
