New Closet Organization

I would have taken a Before picture, but it wouldn't do it justice. The real story is that we had no useful organization. Bean had stuff in different bins, I had stuff in different bins, boxes, and the dresser. We (I) needed a way to give everything a spot so that laundry day wouldn't be so traumatic and I can relax.

This is Bean's side, with about $200 in Ikea storage down below. These are what saved our closet. I also picked these green boxes because they are cute and can hold a lot of stuff. Notice how my clothes are taking up half of his side. I do have to have a spot for my work uniforms!
This is my side, with random dressy dresses removed as well as other stuff to be donated. We ended up with 2.5 bags of clothing to donate, several dresses to sell at Plato's Closet, and 4 storage bins that will go to work in the garage or in Bean's new work storage unit.
His great idea to hang hats on nails above the door. He can reach them, so it's useful and they look nice and neat.

Another closeup of the Ikea storage. It holds Bean's work undershirts, jeans, boxers, and socks; then my sleep shirts, sleep pants, workout shirts, workout pants, something I can't remember, and bathing suits. That leaves the dresser free for my undergarments.
The only way to explain what an improvement this is: I'm actually looking forward to putting laundry away. Not dreading trying to shove sleep clothes where they don't fit, or leaving stuff all over the floors.

I think cleaning out and oraganizing closests are soo liberating!! I love it. Sadly, my closet quickly looks like it did before I organized it!
