As I was getting ready for dinner for our Anniversary, Bean said, "Crap! I forgot to get you a card!!!" I told him my cricut was right over there and there was plenty of paper- get busy! So this is the card he made me:
It says, "Love Card of Love". Inside is a really sweet note, which he does in every card and is always my favorite part.I had already bought a card for him that said something about farting, and was not sweet whatsoever. And here's what I wrote on the front:
"Wearing that ball & chain for 3 years today". hahaSo since I'm forcing him to do the traditional wedding gifts every year, this year was leather. I got him a new leather wallet, a brown leather work belt, a black leather dress belt, and a book. He got me a brown leather purse and a second snuggie. (I love snuggies, and so does Brooklyn!)
Next year, our traditional gift options are fruit or flowers. The 'modern' gift options are appliances. We might just have to do a kitchen remodel and do a combo of both!
The 5 year gift is wood, but maybe we'll get to do a vow renewal instead! I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
I really can't wait until 10 years, when the traditional gift is tin or aluminum. What in the world could you buy for your spouse that's tin or aluminum?
