I was really worried about those shelves sticking too far out into the middle of the store, but they are not bad at all. It still feels really open.

I forgot to mention that the first few days of opening the store I ate a lot of fast food. That first day when we took lunch after unloading all of those pallets by hand, I actually went to McDonald's!
Here's the back room with all of the racks put up. We had to guestimate how high we wanted everything; I'm wishing I could go back now and have the levels tweaked but at this point that would be a horrible pain to take all of the product off, move the shelves, then put the product back on the shelves.

One of the most fun things I did was load up that forklift with trash, then walk it over to our big dumpster and ease it in by dragging the bottom of the pallet against the edge of the dumpster until it all fell in. Very fun! At this point it was starting to feel like a real store and I was really enjoying the weekends off.
